How did Ya Chou Foods get started?
It was in the 1990s. My dad came here as a co-owner/chef of a food manufacturing plant… eventually got scammed. Instead of having a really good life, they started Ya Chou. The best that they can do is start their own brand.
Ya Chou in Mandarin means "Asian." They wanted to have this Taiwanese/Chinese dimsum or cuisine being known to the market. They started everything handmade. They don't even have a mixer at that time. You're gonna put flour on the table, pour the water, and start rubbing it everything.
And today, after 35 years of serving delicious Taiwanese-inspired food, Ya Chou continues to craft every dish with love using fresh, local ingredients—never any preservatives or extenders—in their FDA registered facility, trusted by top hotels and restaurants for food that’s always safe, consistent, and truly unforgettable.
